The Washington School celebrated National Law Enforcement Day! Students and staff wore the color blue to show support and appreciation. Students also wrote letters and cards. Thank you to School Resource Officer Castillo for keeping our school community safe.

Congratulations to Washington School’s December Students of The Month! Principal Rivera awarded the students with a certificate and awards for their outstanding achievements in the classroom.

The Washington School held its monthly Parent Breakfast meeting and celebrated the holiday season with parents and families! Students performed holiday themed songs for the parents. Thank you to our Parent Liaison, Mrs. Kanik, for coordinating this event and a special thanks to our Art Teacher, Mrs. Colangelo, and her students for the beautiful holiday decorations in the gymnasium.

Principal Rivera awarded all the Washington School students that earned Honor Roll grades and Perfect Attendance for the First Marking Period! Congratulations to all our students.

The Washington School held its annual Holiday Show for students and families! Students performed holiday songs and dances led by our musical teachers. Happy Holidays to all!

The children from the Washington School community received a toy for the holidays from the Annual Brian P. Stack Toy Giveaway event held at the Washington School! Thank you to all volunteers and staff for assisting in this important event to distribute the toys to our children. Happy Holidays to all!

The Washington School hosted Parents’ Night for all parents. Teachers held individual conferences with the parents regarding their child’s academic progress. Parents were invited to visit the Healthcare station and the Scholastic Book Fair! Thank you to all the staff and parents that attended this event.
