Hello everyone, welcome back as the 2022-2023 school year is underway. Please be advised the Back To School Program will be in person. The start times on Tuesday October 4th are 6:30 PM and 8:30 PM. Thank you for your attention in this matter.

Washington School welcomed students and staff back to school with its “Passport to Learning” school theme. It is truly an exciting time for everyone as we begin the 2022-2023 school year.

Hello everyone, hope you all had a wonderful Summer. As we begin the new school year on Tuesday September 6th, please be aware of the following concerning Parents Nights throughout the Union City School District in 2022-2023.

Everyone in attendance had an incredible 1st annual Young Marines celebration on Friday July 29th at the Emerson Middle School. 45 students graduated with the rank of Young Marines private. It was a privilege for all of these proud parents to cheer on their child as they showed off their abilities during the very impressive drill presentation.

Students at the Washington School continue to engage in a variety of enjoyable activities. This week, our students participated in a summer paint party as well as a fun Math/ELA Million Dollar Project and created Geometry puzzles. As our program comes to a conclusion, we are truly appreciative of the time we spent with the students.

Here are some of the exciting highlights from Week 3. Students at the Washington School continued to work on ELA, Math and STEM activities. In addition, students participated in recreational activities such as mindfulness/yoga, coding with robots and math art.
